Welcome to Ayriel Classical

The aim of this recording label is to capture the extraordinary vibe and musical chemistry which come alive within an inspired environment, away from the hustle and bustle of life.  Whether during the North York Moors Chamber Music Festival or outside of it, artists are encouraged to explore in depth the great chamber works we passionately champion, committing them to a recording whilst devoid of conventional pressures.  As from the summer of 2021 our home will be the newly converted Ayriel Studios, a brand new state-of-the-art soundproofed residential recording in the heart of the National Park in the vale of Westerdale.

All recordings take place within the landscape of nature; panoramic views and changing weather form part of the creative process we tap into. Our photographer Paul Ingram is there to capture both artist and environment.

About

This celebration of music, culture, history, landscape and friendship has culminated in some truly magical collaborations. These continue outside the festival itself not just in North Yorkshire, where we have given over 400 concerts - but in other festivals too.

We believe in providing an holistic experience, allowing time to relax and reflect on our work. This approach to our work allows the artist to engage fully in the music and focus on what matters.

Recordings

As our journey progresses, we’ll share our interpretations through the glorious spectrum of chamber music: an infinite source of creativity and some of the greatest repertoire ever composed.
